Compare Canadian Card Buylist Offers

A shopping guide by TCG Marketplace

A buylist is a store's offer to buy cards from you. TCG Marketplace lets you compare published Canadian cash and store-credit offers in CAD, then continue to the merchant's buylist to arrange the sale.

Identify the cards you want to sell

Separate cards by game, set, finish, language and condition. The same card name can have several buylist offers for different printings. Inspect wear under good light and read the merchant's condition guide; an offer for near mint may not apply to a played copy.

Choose a game in Buylist and search the card name. Use the set, condition and store filters to focus the offers, and check the finish and language in each row before comparing prices.

Compare cash and store credit separately

Cash and credit serve different goals. Sort by cash if you want a cash payment. Sort by credit if you plan to buy from that particular store, then check what you could purchase and the store's credit terms.

For example, $50 in store credit and $40 cash are different offers. The credit is $10 higher, but it is useful only if you want to spend it under that store's rules. Consider its card prices, shipping charges and any restrictions before choosing credit.

Check how many copies the store wants

An attractive per-card offer may cover only part of your stack. Check the wanted quantity when the merchant publishes it, and confirm how extra copies are handled. If no quantity is shown, ask the merchant or check its buylist before assuming all your copies qualify.

Search results use saved merchant offers rather than a live quote reserved for you. An empty result means there is no matching offer in the available data; it does not mean every Canadian store has stopped buying that card.

Read the merchant's selling terms

Open the offer and review the store's current price, submission process and condition guide. Check minimum order requirements, payment method, shipping or drop-off options, and what happens if the store assigns a different condition.

When mailing cards, include packaging and postage in your comparison. Follow the merchant's instructions for sorting and protecting the cards. Keep a copy of the submitted list and any shipping confirmation.

Confirm the sale with the store

The merchant confirms eligibility, quantities, condition and final payment. TCG Marketplace does not purchase your cards, reserve an offer or process the buylist transaction.

Buylist compares published offers from participating Storepass merchants. Coverage varies by store and game; BinderPOS buylists are not currently included. You can search and compare offers without signing in.
