TCG Marketplace terms

Free participation

TCG Marketplace is free for shoppers and participating stores. We charge no installation fee, subscription, listing fee, or sales commission. Stores remain responsible for their own Shopify subscription, payment processing, shipping, and other operating costs.

Purchases and store responsibility

TCG Marketplace helps Canadian players discover and compare trading cards and related products. Purchases are completed through the retailer’s checkout. The retailer is the seller and is responsible for product authenticity, descriptions, prices, taxes, payment, shipping, returns, refunds, and customer service. Confirm the final price and availability at checkout. Contact the retailer about an order.

Connecting and publishing your catalog

By connecting your store, you authorize us to use the product information you publish to TCG Marketplace, including titles, descriptions, images, variant details, prices, inventory, and storefront links, to operate and display your marketplace listings. You must have the right to provide that content and offer those products for sale.

The Shopify channel supports Canadian trading-card retailers with a working Shopify Online Store and a Canadian market in CAD. We review stores before their listings become public. Your channel screen shows whether your account is pending or live and any eligibility or publishing issues. Publish only the products you want to make available through this channel.

Disconnecting

You can disconnect your account from the TCG Marketplace channel screen or uninstall the channel through Shopify Admin. Disconnecting stops channel publishing and removes the connected store’s listings from marketplace search. Your Shopify products and store remain yours. Reconnecting may require another catalog sync and marketplace review.

Catalog accuracy and appropriate use

Catalog updates depend on information from retailers and may take time to appear. Keep your product information accurate. Do not publish counterfeit, misleading, unlawful, or unauthorized listings, misuse another store’s account, or interfere with the service. We may pause listings while we investigate a catalog or eligibility issue and provide the reason through the channel screen or support.
